More
Mobile Online Gambling Players
More players than ever before are using their mobile devices
to gamble online. A recent research report showed that nearly
half of social casino activity is now done on mobile devices.
Eilers Research did a study that showed that 46 percent of
casino activity is now done through the mobile channel. The
numbers were from the first quarter of 2014. The percentage
is up about 14 percent from the fourth quarter of last year.
The study by Eilers Research should not come as a surprise.
Juniper Research recently said that the mobile casinos and
poker market will reach $62 billion dollars globally by 2018.
Much of the growth is expected to come from the United States
which has seen New Jersey get into the online gambling market.
Some companies are already heavily invested in mobile gambling
including Big Fish Casino, Zynga and Slotomania. It also appears
that Facebook is expanding their reach. Facebook recently
acquired Oculus which is company that deals with virtual reality
software. Facebook users in the U.K. can already play online
poker for real money. It may not be long before other countries
follow suit. And many of those users will be using their mobile
devices to get into their favorite game.
Use your mobile device to play your favorite online casino
games today.
